About the owner:

            Hi, my name is Peter Quach and I hope you enjoy my website. I started Live Love Tea to fill what I felt was a gap in the American tea industry - a tea company that focuses on the customer experience through a fun and informative way to shop without the fluff. I have a very simple belief when selecting and creating products to sell: If I won't drink or eat it, I won't sell it. I believe Japanese teas should come from Japan, Chinese teas should come from China and Taiwan, Indian teas should come from India and so on. It's not about squeezing every penny of profit out of my customers, it's about giving my customers (you) a great experience to make them want to be a customer for life. I've spent almost my entire career working in retail and customer service and I am adamant that the best way to grow a business is through the customer experience. I promise to be transparent about the way we operate. We won't try to trick you with questionable marketing ploys and we certainly will not lie to you. I believe in the customer experience not only because I believe it's the right thing to do, but more importantly, because you deserve it.

            I first started drinking tea as a child when my father would brew a strong teapot full of his favorite Oolong and would let me drink it with him. I always enjoyed drinking that Oolong, even though it was brewed way too strong, and it made me appreciate quality tea at a young age. As I grew older I tried those all too familiar cheap tea bags that look like they're filled exclusively with tea dust. I tried these because they were readily available and I thought it was the norm and unfortunately, it still is for many people. However, they never really tasted right and they never compared to the loose leaf teas I drank as a child. I started drinking loose leaf teas again and WOW! What a difference! The depth of flavor, the complexity, and the overall sensation made me realize just how much I love tea and how I'd love to share my passion with everyone.
